Holiness:  Think Dalai Lama, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, as well as many others from all walks of life, from the humblest to the well known. Holiness embodies service. This is where self is put aside to serve and give to others. Holiness is within the best of the arts, science, research, teaching, caregiving, etc. Holiness is where there is a dedication to truth and the highest good of all. With holiness, you witness the best of human nature. Are those exhibiting holiness perfect? No, of course not! They also have their human side to deal with, balance, take care of.  They are still in their mortal bodies, still dealing with and balancing their ego and shadow sides and healing their life wounds, etc., etc. They are still growing and evolving. Perfection does not permanently exist while living on the earth in physical form, but there can be moments of perfection.

However, in these people, the majority of their energy, their dedication, their motivation,  their focus is coming from a commitment to be their Highest Self in the world. They walk with an awareness of the Divine within and without. Everything is Divine. They see through the eyes of Namaste: “The Divine within me greets the Divine within you.” They bring out the best in others. Is this just for the saints? No, holiness is meant for every single human being. The human journey is to holiness. Some are further along the path, but the way of Ego to Soul and then learning to balance and integrate both is the same for each of us.

Is holiness only for the well known and famous? Of course not. You can see holiness at times in anyone, of any age, in moments of heroism, in moments of sacrifice from pure Love, in moments of standing up for truth.  Look for these, watch for these. These moments happen every day and everywhere. This is what gives hope and inspiration. Even in the darkest of times, Light and Love and Truth can come shining through for all to witness. For example, hearing and seeing the courageous, intelligent, articulate, passionate young people from the tragic Parkland, Florida, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, standing up and working for change inspires hope.

Holiness brings out our best. This is what gives us hope. This is what moves us out of despair to keep trying. These are the ordinary people feeling the call of their Soul to have the courage to stand up, speak up for what is right, for what are human rights and dignity for ALL people. Holiness will save the earth and environment from it’s worst virus: the human being. The fantastic courage, determination, inspiration of the teenage environmental activist, Greta Thunberg, ready and willing to take on the world, is a perfect example. Fortunately, she has parents who are backing her up. Bravo! This gives all of us hope for positive change.

I have had experiences like my attending the Parliament of World’s Religions, or the recent online SAND (Science and Nonduality) conference (due to adapting to Covid-19 canceling the in-person meeting), where people were interacting with Love, acceptance, inclusion, kindness, respect across all the differences. The people were living from a place of Oneness, knowing the connection we all have as the human family. These experiences showed an environment of heaven-on-earth created for a short time, where we experienced transcendence of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. The experience was so touching, so moving. Straight from heart to heart. Genuine. Real connection, the experiencing of our oneness as humanity. At moments like this, we are at our finest, all needs are met, and the joy and love overflow, and hearts are wide open. Yes, this is possible. Yes, this can be created by flawed human beings, despite all our life wounds and struggles, despite an imperfect world. This is living the vision. This is getting a glimpse of the world we are capable of creating. But we need to come together as one, to join our energies towards our common goals, to create a world that works for all people.

The holy people are in touch with the Divine. They tap into that energy and vision, working to bring it in from the outside world. These are people who have their hearts open with Love and caring and have learned to balance their minds and hearts. These are the people who have and continue to do the hard work of healing and to become whole and balanced. They are now ready to serve, co-create, and make a positive difference in this world.

All of the stages I have mentioned can be worked on at the same time, serving while healing. It is an ongoing, interactive process. These Sacred Earthwalkers, Earth Angels, Cultural Creatives, Starseeds, Lightworkers, People of Caring Hearts and Integrity, are everywhere, in all walks of life, in all professions, of all ages, all genders, and all races. Let us recognize each other, call each other, connect, work together in Unity. The synergistic power can be incredible. We need to keep on keeping on.

When a person is coming from this holiness place, it is like there is “fire in the belly” that knows no fear, no limitations, that perseveres through obstacles one after another. A Vision inspires this person from within, a determination from within to make a difference for goodness. Such a person might be the parent working day by day to help their special needs child, to find answers that the medical world says are impossible. This parent will not accept the word “impossible.” These persons can defy all odds and come up with cures, answers, miracles. Through their Love, faith, determination, they have tapped into divine energy within that can and does create miracles.

This is what I experienced with the healing of my daughter’s arm and hands. Life-changing it was, to put it mildly. I was blown away to discover this healing potential is genuine and is accessible for all people when certain factors come together. This is what Yeshua said, when he told his disciples, “Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to my Father.” (John 14:12) Wow! This turns out to be true. Stunning. Wow, I saw a whole new view of life and the world. I saw what is possible when we are co-creators with the Divine and with the Divine working through us!
